Johnathan Harrison, Drums/Vocals

A t the age of 2, Johnathan's parents
noticed he would start to tap his belly and pat his
foot instantly when he heard music. This
desire to play drums and percussion had already set
roots. A phone call was made to the late/great Wayne
White who played with Dolly Parton and Porter Wagoner.
Wayne insisted on beginning private lessons. At the
age of 5, Johnathan began lessons with Wayne and a passion
unfolded. Johnathan played drums in his first band in
4th grade and continued with Wayne throughout middle
school. In high school, he received multiple awards in
percussion, music scoring and vocals. After
graduating, Johnathan was hired by Central High School for
the percussion instructor position. He went on to
write the percussion book for two seasons and won the top
drumline award 5 times. He then made the jump into the
Drum Corp. He was the number 3 selection out of 116
candidates as outside anchor snare for
SouthWind. Since then, his love and devotion to music
has allowed him to play with some of the best in the music
business. In addition to playing for Wynn, Johnathan
played for top Nashville songwriter Billy Yates (Choices,
Rockin Chair) and opened for Confederate Railroad in Fort
Meyers, FL. Johnathan is also an accomplished studio
musician with hundreds of hours under his belt. His 8 year
old son Austin is also a great musician in the making.
Johnathan resides in Columbia, TN with his beautiful wife
Misty and their daughter Maggie.
